Tayi bag

The Tayi bag blends the modern look of quilting with an age-old love for traditional fabrics. Made from our leftover hand-block-printed fabrics, it features a quilted effect achieved by layering two fabrics that are first hand-block-printed with traditional Indian motifs before being dyed. The three patterns are both distinct and perfectly complementary: poetic flowers, graphic triangles, and original rectangles.

Because our fabrics are made with plant-based, and therefore natural, dyes, they are a living material whose colors evolve and develop a patina over time. Red and orange are obtained from madder root, brown from rhubarb root, blue from indigo, and yellow from pomegranate. You can mix and match them, or use them to liven up a more classic solid color.
